Well the Exhibition has been and gone and was generally considered a great success with around 400 visitors coming to see it. We were especially pleased to welcome visitors from the newly formed Spratton History Society being practically neighbours.

Since then we have had a Christmas party with over 30 people enjoying themselves. Did everyone find the quiz as hard as I did? And why were only ladies allowed to sit on Father Christmas’ knee? Many thanks to everyone who helped to make this so enjoyable an event and especially the cook who made the Christmas cake which I won in the raffle.

The Annual General Meeting will be on January 25 at 7.45 p.m. in the Village Hall when we have a number of items to discuss relating to the future of the Society. By now all members should have received a letter from John and I giving more details. If any member has not received their copy please let John or me know.
