There has been a great demand for our visit to Flagship Portsmouth with forty bookings to date. A few places are still available if you get in touch in the next few days. Meanwhile we need to plan a route avoiding Silverstone if possible (that’s Silverstone, Northamptonshire not Silverstone, Alicia). We have rejected the M1, M25, M3 as being too dreary and A14, M42, M40, A34, M3 as too long. Now we are thinking of reaching the A34 either via A45, A361, M40 or A508, A412. Either route would allow a half hour break in Newbury. Any other suggestions would be welcome. We are still planning to leave from the Community Centre at 0800hours, arriving in Portsmouth about noon and returning about 1700hours to be back in Brixworth around 2100hours.
Guided tours of Brixworth are now available. Contact the secretary for
more information and to make a booking. You can email the secretary or he can be contacted by telephone on 01604 880604.
