Summer News update
As promised a reminder of what’s happening during the summer.
Thursday 16 June - Guided tour of Brixworth for Rothwell History Society. If you would like to join this tour meet me at the Heritage Centre, Church St at 7.30pm. The full tour will take approx 90 mins.
Saturday 25 June - Trip to Ludlow. Leave outside the Community Centre/Library, Spratton Rd at 8.00am. Leave Ludlow at 5.30pm. There are a few seats available at £10. Contact Deni Wills, tel 880612 to book.
Thursday 21 July - Guided tour of Lamport Hall. Meet at the Hall in good time to start the tour at 7.30pm. £5 payment required please at least a week before the tour to Deni (14 Hunt Close) or me (15 Kennel Terrace). Places still available.
Friday 29 July - Monday 1 August - Trip to Lille. Bruges etc. Fully booked
Thursday 18 August - Summer Surprise. Visit to see Steve Parish and his Saxon/Iron Age Settlement and Tudor House under construction at Pitsford. Meet at 7.00pm Drummond Close, Pitsford. (Almost opposite Village School, Moulton Rd). Refreshments. No charge
Thursday 22 September - Next meeting in Village Hall, Member’s Night
