A reminder that the next member’s meeting is this Thursday, 19 May, when your guest speakers Pat & Jim Edwards will be presenting an illustrated talk entitled ‘Old Northampton’. As this meeting will be the last ‘in house’ one we have before we embark on our very busy summer season details will be given out about the final arrangements for the Brixworth Tour for Rothwell History Society on 16 June, the Coach Trip to Ludlow on 25 June, the visit to Lamport Hall on 21 July and the 4 day trip to Lille at the end of July. I do hope you are able to come along to enjoy the talk and receive all of this important information
Well done to Jean, Doris & Jeanette for setting up an excellent BHS display at the recent Spratton History Society Exhibition and thank you to those of you who supported them as stewards and/or visitors. The display showing some of the research material on the history of Brixworth Football Club prepared by Dave West proved to be of great interest and can be seen again in the Heritage Centre from the middle of June.
